You Brought Them Here! YOU YOU YOU!

So many of you have heard about the squirrels, the "night squirrels" and the various other forms of wildlife that populate the apartment trees and lawn.

But we have something new. Crows. Which is awesome.

"It’s the end of the world..."

Kim, the crow thing is just incredible, and creepy. Murder of crows! Damn, I love that!

Now, I don’t want you to worry about this, because I think I can help. I actually have quite a bit of experience with situations like this. I mean, I’ve seen that movie at least 100 times! That has to be worth something, right?

Anyway, there isn’t any real danger of an attack unless the crows start massing in the trees around your place. You know, where you can hear them but really can’t see them. Until that happens you should be safe.

;)

Btw, that's a great clip from "The Birds." And here’s one, just for you! The crazy lady in the restaurant, is at the end. Awesome!

Another clip from The Birds!

Man, IB, that is sooooo much more evidence that smoking is bad for you!

Oh, and that seagulls are the spawn of Satan.

Hee! Apparently, smoking is especially bad for you if you are in an Alfred Hitchcock movie...

And, seagulls from Hell!!!

Exorcism is CLEARLY in order, Kim. Those crows want ARMAGEDDON. The Hummers are just waiting in the wings. Search your feelings - you know it to be true!!

Kim, is there an owl nesting near your place?

Owls and crows are the bitterest of natural enemies. Crows will travel dozens of miles and congregate in large numbers, setting aside their territorial differences to harass, attack, and sometimes kill a sleeping/perching owl. The owl is at a huge disadvantage during daylight hours and usually ends up fleeing for its life unless the crows start to late in the evening and the owls sight returns. Then it's quite a different story.

Watching an owl and crow fight at dusk is some sight, an aerial display you won't forget.
